Jan-Willem van Weir is JLG’s Senior Product Marketing Manager for EMEAIR. In this role, he is responsible for product management in Europe, the Middle East, Russia and Africa for the company’s full line of access equipment.
No stranger to technology, prior to joining JLG in 2014, Jan-Willem served in several roles for electronics giant Philips, including senior global product marketing manager, Philips TVs, and business development manager, digital new products and car navigation.
In his seven years with JLG, Jan-Willem has worked on projects like the DaVinci, Clearsky, High-capacity booms, and the ERT & RT scissor launch. With a degree in International marketing management from Hanzehogeschool Groningen in The Netherlands, he has worked in both a B2C and B2B environment and is of the opinion that the two have merged in how to approach the distributor as well as the end-user.
Passionate about sustainability, Jan-Willem believes with the right customer insight and product vision, JLG is making a difference in changing people’s lives by redefining their job-site to an emission free one.
