Regional Manager, Middle East & South Asia | IPAF

Jason Woods

Jason Woods is the regional manager for the Middle East and South Asia at the International Powered Access Federation (IPAF)

Taking over the position in 2013, Jason has been driving safety in the wider region ever since to the highest level when working with elevating work platforms. His tasks and challenges include the reduction of accidents, increasing MEWP/MCWP awareness and supporting safety professionals having a better understanding when using this type of equipment. Under Jason’s watch, more than 45,000 MEWP operators have been trained in the last five years through the IPAF’s PAL card training programme.

The IPAF promotes the safe and effective use of powered access equipment worldwide in the widest sense – through providing technical advice and information; through influencing and interpreting legislation and standards; and through safety initiatives and training programmes. IPAF is a not-for-profit organisation owned by its members, which include manufacturers, rental companies, distributors, contractors and users. IPAF members operate a majority of the MEWP rental fleet worldwide and manufacture about 85% of platforms on the market.
